Willow work on wearable structures

I used willow and linen to work on some wearable structures inspired by the sailing boat. The sailing boat represents for me this symbol of freedom as well as the symbol of privilege and oppression. The boat is a tool to carry humans and abjects, humans as objects too.

With my friend Ibrahim, we worked on body movements carrying these ephemeral structures.

The materials used are willow, ropes, raffia, linen, and naturally printed fabrics.
